Aceite Esencial de Bergamota

This appears to be a quality essential oil but I'm not very experienced with oils. The scent wasn't really to my liking to be honest. I wasn't sure if I would like it or not as I am very sensitive to odors but I thought I would give it a go. I get that liking a scent is very personal, but I found bergamot to be quite different than what I expected it to be. It does have a citrus aroma, but there are other things mixed in that made it just not what I expected or liked in the end.I like that it comes in a dark glass bottle as it should, with a dropper for easy dispensing. The oil seems kinda thick, so you only need a few drops at a time, which means the bottle should last quite a while as there is a lot there.Even though this particular fragrance isn't one I'll purchase again, I think the product itself is well made. If you already enjoy bergamot or are looking to try a different citrus essential oil for DIY projects, this is worth considering.

I ordered this essential oil for myself; I’ve been using essential oils to scent the air in my home and car lately. The oil arrived undamaged to my house, without any leaking of the product. I appreciate that the oil is packaged in a brown glass bottle, to keep it fresh. The dropper makes it easy to precisely dispense the oil. The bergamot scent is so citrusy and fresh, without being antiseptic. I’ve been using this oil as an air freshener (it works equally well in a spray or diffuser). It also combines really well with other oils, such as lavender or vanilla.I do try to make sure that I spray the oil away from fabrics so it doesn’t stain. The size of the bottle is generous; at 4oz, the current selling price ($20) is reasonable.

For $20, you get a giant four-ounce amber glass bottle of pure bergamot oil with no added ingredients. I put a couple of drops on my dryer balls, and my clothes come out smelling fantastic. I also like mixing it with another oil for a moisturizing skin treatment. The bergamot scent is bright and fruity (citrus), and absolutely divine. The dropper was packaged separately and carefully, and everything arrived intact. Since it only takes a few drops at a time, this bottle is going to last me forever. This is an excellent value for the amount and quality of oil you receive.

The moment I cracked the cap, I got hit with this bright lime-citrus note that lands somewhere between Earl Grey and walking through a grove after a summer storm. It smells clean, but not bathroom cleaner territory and has just enough softness to keep it from being sharp. A few drops in the diffuser and my office suddenly feels like I finally got my life together. The 4 ounce size is kind of ridiculous in the best way. Most “fancy” essential oils give you a thimbleful and then act like you should be grateful. Here you actually get a real bottle you can use liberally in diffusers, DIY room sprays, and whatever random skincare concoctions you decide to experiment with at 1 AM. For the price per ounce, it is a very solid value, especially considering it is marketed as 100% pure organic bergamot with no fillers. The bottle itself feels sturdy, and the amber glass does its job keeping the oil away from light so it does not degrade before you finish it. There is a standard reducer, so you can get controlled drops instead of accidentally baptizing your entire project in bergamot. That matters when you are adding it to carrier oils for massage, skin care, or tossing a few drops into melted wax for candles or soap.Is this actually decent quality? The brand leans hard into testing and purity claims, talking up GC/MS testing, organic sourcing, and proper distillation and cold-press methods. I cannot personally run a lab panel, but on nose alone it smells like a real essential oil, not a synthetic perfume trying to cosplay as botanicals. It opens bright, settles smooth, and does not have that weird chemical after-smell you get from cheaper blends. If you like your space to smell like a calm citrus day instead of a dessert bakery or the cleaning supplies aisle at a department store, this is an easy win. A little goes a long way, the scent is fresh without being bossy, and the generous bottle means you can actually use it instead of rationing every drop like it is liquid gold.

Bergamot essential oil can be added to skincare and haircare products, used for aromatherapy, used in making candles, etc. It is reported to have numerous benefits for your skin. Just remember that as with most essential oils you should never apply it undiluted to your skin. Put a few drops in some type of carrier oil - I’ve used grapeseed oil and jojoba oil the most – and do a small area patch test to make sure your body doesn’t have any adverse reactions to the oil before you apply it to a large area of your skin. Another thing to be aware of is bergamot oil is one of the essential oils reputed to cause sun sensitivity, so wear your sunscreen! The bergamot oil from Rootsar is 100% pure. It comes in a large 4 ounce amber glass bottle with a glass dropper. The use of amber glass is something I look for, because it protects the contents from the damage that can be caused by exposure to light and it increases shelf stability. The included dropper makes it easy for me to add a drop or two to liquid soap and my shampoo. It’s believed to aid in hair growth, and I like that it doesn’t leave any residue. It has a really nice citrus-type scent, but it isn’t overpowering. The quality of this bergamot oil seems to be really good. Factor in the large amount of oil, the very reasonable price, and the use of amber glass, and it all makes Rootsar bergamot essential oil a very good choice.

This oil smells like fresh citrus and very similar to Purification by Young Living. It’s a pleasant light scent that blankets our house with spring freshness. Instead of a small hole at the top to dispense, it comes with a squeezable wand that you can easily control the number of drops. It comes in a 4 fl oz bottle, which is a lot for essential oils. Great value!

Beautiful scent, dark bottle to preserve quality if oil. Light 🍋🍊 scent reminiscent of earl grey tea. Many uses including skin care after diluted with carrier oil of course..the dropper makes it easy to use and prevents waste .

Having worked with other essential oil brands, I expected a stronger note when opening the bottle. I was doing some research though and this could be due to the extraction method. It seems steam distillation of cold pressed oils can made the fragrance lighter.I still made a lovely rollerball blend with this and palo santo oil. The scent is nice, not overpowering and it does hold it's own when blended. I think this is a great value for the size of the bottle you get! The bottle and package were sealed well. The dropper itself is just ok.

I'm not sure how bergamot smells to be honest it's my first time using it. I think it's a nice smell - not too strong which is what I like. Decent price for what you get. I like the convenient dropper - makes for clean and easy targeted use.

I love bergamot and while i think you can injest this, i mostly use it externally and as a part of making my room smell amazing. it's a wonderful potent sent and you def could just use it as a fragrance if you wish. you get a lot. I sometimes mix mine with a bit of alcohol and use it as a spray. it's just a lovely product. The dropper works great. The bottle is tinted to keep it in good form. That said, I always store mine in a cool dry place where it is away from any elements. Def give this brand a try!

I picked this up for diffusing and making a DIY room spray. The scent is exactly what bergamot should be: bright citrus with a slightly earthy, floral undertone, like fresh earl grey. It opens clean and doesn't go synthetic or sharp once it settles. A few drops fills my home office without being aggressive about it.The 4 oz bottle is good value. I've been blending it with lavender and eucalyptus without burning through the supply. One thing to watch: the cap on mine was loose when it arrived. No spill, but the box smelled and the outer seal was soaked. The oil seems fine, but worth checking before you store it.

I’ve become a little obsessed with bergamot lately, so I was excited to try this. The scent is fresh, citrusy, and a little more complex than a basic lemon or orange oil. It smells really nice in my diffuser and makes the house feel clean without giving “I just cleaned the bathroom.”The bottle is a great size for the price. A lot of essential oils come in tiny little bottles that disappear after a few weeks, so I appreciated getting a larger amount. The dropper worked fine for me and I didn’t have any leaking issues. The scent seemed strong enough that I didn’t need to use a ton.The only reason I’m knocking off a star is that I’ve smelled a few bergamot oils that felt a little richer and more vibrant. This one is good, just not quite my favorite bergamot ever. But, for the size and price, I’d happily use it again. My diffuser has definitely been getting a workout lately.

This bergamot essential oil has a bright, citrus-forward scent that works nicely in diffusers and aromatherapy blends. The aroma is uplifting and slightly sweet with a subtle floral edge, which makes it a popular choice for creating a calm, refreshing atmosphere at home or in the office. The cold-pressed extraction method helps preserve the natural fragrance profile, and it blends well with other essential oils like lavender, eucalyptus, or peppermint for customized diffuser mixes. Essential oils like bergamot are commonly used in aromatherapy to support relaxation and mood balance through scent stimulation. The 4 fl oz size is generous compared to many standard bottles, making it a good value for frequent diffuser use, DIY candle making, or soap crafting. The oil performs well in both home fragrance applications and personal care projects when properly diluted. One thing to keep in mind is that bergamot oil can be photosensitive when applied to skin, so it should always be diluted and used with care in topical applications.Overall, this is a versatile, pleasantly scented essential oil that works especially well for aromatherapy, home fragrance, and creative DIY projects.

I have purchased several essential oils over the years, and I am very impressed with this Bergamot Essential Oil. The scent is fresh, bright, and citrusy with a subtle sweetness that makes my entire home smell clean and relaxing. It's strong enough to fill a room when used in a diffuser without being overpowering. One of the biggest selling points for me was the size. At 4 ounces, this bottle offers incredible value compared to many other essential oils on the market that come in much smaller quantities for a similar price. A little goes a long way, so I expect this bottle to last quite a while.I've used it in my diffuser, mixed with carrier oils for massage, and even added a few drops to homemade bath products. The quality has been consistent across all uses, and the oil blends beautifully with other citrus, floral, and herbal scents. The bottle arrived well-packaged with no leaks, and the oil itself appears clean and high quality. The aroma smells natural and refreshing rather than artificial or overly perfumed. If you're looking for a versatile bergamot essential oil with a wonderful fragrance and great value for the amount you receive, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

The box arrived sealed, but the bottle inside was already open. About half the oil had leaked out and soaked the packaging. This seems to be a recurring issue with this product, since other buyers mention the same issue. The scent itself is great and exactly what I expect from Bergamot. But since the bottle was not sealed, it is impossible to trust it as an Earl Gray additive. Until the sealing problem is fixed, the product feels like a gamble.

I’ve been slowly building out my essential oil collection for different moods and times of day, and bergamot is one of those scents I reach for when I want something that feels uplifting but still calm. I tend to gravitate toward citrus oils in general, but I like when they have a little more depth than just “fresh and sharp,” so I was curious how this one would compare.Right away, this Rootsar bergamot smells exactly like that balance I was hoping for—bright, citrusy, and slightly sweet with a soft floral undertone underneath. It doesn’t hit aggressively like some citrus oils can. Instead, it feels smooth and rounded, almost like a gentle lift in the air rather than a burst of it.I’ve been using it in my diffuser during the day while working from home, and it genuinely helps shift the atmosphere. There’s something about it that makes the space feel more open and lighter without being distracting. It’s one of those scents that quietly improves the environment without demanding attention. What I really like is how versatile it is. I’ve blended it with eucalyptus for a more spa-like feel and with lavender in the evenings when I want something softer. It works well both ways without losing its own identity, which not all oils manage to do.The oil itself feels very concentrated. A few drops are enough to noticeably scent the room, so even with regular use, the bottle feels like it will last a long time. The amber glass packaging and dropper also make it easy to control usage, which I appreciate because citrus oils can get overpowering quickly if you’re not careful. At around $23, it feels like a solid value for a 4 oz bottle, especially if you use essential oils regularly for diffusing or blending. It’s the kind of staple citrus oil that fits easily into a daily routine rather than something you only pull out occasionally.Overall, this is a clean, well-balanced bergamot oil that brings a bright, uplifting energy into the space without ever feeling too sharp or artificial. It’s become one of those quiet essentials I keep reaching for when I want my environment to feel a little more refreshed.

Good stuff but I ask, its it safe to flavor tea? Is it safe to breath?

Cover was not on tight. Second bottle I’ve ordered and both bottles lost oil for the same reason.
